Curse of Conformity

I created the CURSE OF CONFORMITY series of acrylic paintings in December 2023, when I was 94 years old. Like my other recent series of paintings, the current series was meant to express my view about the state of the world. After creating numerous series of mandala paintings, which expressed my hope for a state of tranquility and harmony, I painted the CURSE OF CONFORMITY series to convey that our world is doomed in large part because people prefer following others rather than thinking for themselves. I employed the ancient art of stenciling in creating this series and used metallic colors.
