America

I began painting the AMERICA series of acrylic paintings in early 2024, shortly before my 95th birthday. I had recently painted landscapes of mountains and bridges, and felt that it was time for me to focus on American society. For the AMERICA series I used only red, white and blue on a black background. This series often required the use of several different stencils for a single painting.
