Fractured Worlds

I created the FRACTURED WORLD series of acrylic paintings in December 2023, when I was 94 years old. Like my series WARRING WORLD and WARRING WORLD STILL, the current series was meant to express my view about the state of the world. After creating numerous series of mandala paintings, which conveyed my hope for a state of tranquility and harmony, the FRACTURED WORLD series was designed to express my feeling that our world is doomed. I employed the ancient art of stenciling in creating this series.
